Lawyer 3 - Closing statement

Through this trial, we not only disproved Count Dracula and Renfield's argument that the doctors were careless of their duty, but also proved the fact that Dracula is indeed responsible for Lucy's death for what he has done. Despite the doctors' effort (especially Van Helsing's) for Lucy's complete recovery, (shown in pg.135 "I never saw in all my experience the Professor work in such deadly earnest.")
every night she grows even more pale. According to Lucy's diary, his numerous attacks on Lucy are shown evidently, causing her metamorphosis into a vampire. Additionally the clear scar on Lucy's neck indicates that it is the evil deed of Dracula and thus he is not innocent. Apparently he deserves a punishment for what he has done; as presented earlier through evidences, our lawyers, the doctors, and Arthur do solidify our stance that Dracula is the actual cause of all this misfortune.
